- Equal sign = (Attachment)
- ────────────────────────────
- Placed after command, it allows additional information to be attached.
- If additional information is needed by a command and the equal sign
- is not used, the user will be prompted for the added information.
-
- EXAMPLE
- ───────
- Teach> EXECUTE =DIR *.*: (Everything after the colon will be read as normal)
-
- When using the equal sign in a response, ALWAYS use a colon (:)
- after the last word of the attachment.
-
-
- Broken bar | (Forced teach)
- ──────────────────────────────
- Placed before the first word in a sentence, it forces that sentence to be
- recorded. If user 1 uses the broken bar while at teacher level,
- M.I.P.S. will ask for a new reply.

- Caret ^ (Backspace)
- ──────────────────────
- Placed before a word in a response, it forces the system to backspace
- one character before displaying the word. Caret is used to
- include words longer than 15 characters in responses.
-
- EXAMPLE
- ───────
-
- Teach> EEG stands for Electroenceph ^alograph.
-
-
-
- In responses, break long words into segments of 15 characters
- or less, and use the caret to rejoin them.
